A Relaxed and Rustic Wedding, Manley Mere, Cheshire - Alex and Ste

I can feel a pattern recurring of me explaining why I've not blogged and shared some of my most recent gorgeous weddings: the reason always being that I just have so many recent gorgeous weddings that I'm struggling to find time!

In addition to working, I've recently bought my first house and have been stuck in a whirlwind of paint, dust, cleaning, packing, unpacking and all the other fun things that comes with moving... (prosecco, obviously!)

This week I'm in Italy for another wedding so I'm using all my willpower and staying indoors with the wifi instead of burning by the pool! I've decided to share one of my earlier weddings of the summer - such a gorgeous one that really kicked off summer season!

I went to school with Alex and Ste, it was so incredibly lovely to be able to photograph their Big Day (which made me realise what grown-ups we are!) They got married at Manley Mere in Frodsham. It's such a great venue, almost acting as a blank canvas, giving couples the ability to make it whatever they want! Alex and Ste had gone for a gorgeous rustic theme with stunning pastel coloured flowers which was all beautifully put together by Sarah at Angels Weddings & Events. Their amazing cake table was all made by Alex's best friend and Maid of Honour, Kate of Kate Williams Cakes.

The weather was absolutely perfect for them, allowing them to have their ceremony outside in the summerhouse. Their friends and family could soak up the sun (and the alcohol!) as we went off for their photographs within the extensive private gardens and at Manley Mere's beautiful lakeside setting.

After the speeches, I was sent home to get changed and return without my camera - which was an order that I ignored, naturally! The party was in full swing by the time I returned, everyone had enjoyed their feast of a BBQ and were all up and about; dancing and singing, chatting and laughing, hugging and cheering.

An absolutely incredible and relaxed wedding for a perfect couple, who - it's clear to see - aren't just completely in love, but are best mates!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Roberts (and Jak!) I hope you have an incredibly happy life together xo
