A Winter Wonderland Wedding, Sandhole Oak Barn - Dani & Andy

The beautiful Cheshire bride gazes lovingly at her new husband on their wedding day.

Let me take you back to this absolute dream of a wedding from December. Generally speaking, if you get married in the summer, you find the bride wants bright sun and blue skies. In the same way at winter, the bride wants snow. Not everyone can be lucky with the weather but Dani and Andy couldn't have got it more perfect for their Big Day at Sandhole Oak Barn.

I've known Dani for years (we used to exchange notes in high school about boys and teachers and how much we loved each other!) so I could not have been happier once she chose me to photograph their wedding... And I say 'her' because I don't think Andy had a choice in the matter!

The whole day was at the beautiful venue, which was great for everyone - especially given the weather! It meant that everyone got to enjoy the stunning, bright snowy light, the amazing sunset, the crisp winter air and didn't have to move far at all!

All of the guests and bridal party were so friendly and happy - I blame the pre-Christmas buzz! The creative touches dotted around were all handmade; from the table plan and sambuca shot favours to the incredible, mouth-watering cake table (which I may or may not have raided before my drive home!)

I'd love to re-do this wedding over and over! Thank you for having me, Mr and Mrs Partridge - you're amazing! XO

PS. Check out their little boy, Ellis... The cutest little run down the aisle I have ever seen!
