A rural and elegant Italian wedding, Santa Maria di Castellabate - Sabrina and Dom
I have been absolutely DESPERATE to share this wedding from the moment I finished shooting it! You may recognise this gorgeous couple from earlier in the summer when I shared their pre-wedding sunset shoot on the beach, the evening before their Big Day.
Sabrina and her girls got ready at Villa Sirio in the town of Santa Maria di Castellabate whilst Dom spent the morning at his family home with his Best Men, parents, siblings, family and their gorgeous little boy Charlie-Ray.
The beautiful Italian ceremony was held at Santa Maria di Guilia Basilica, a gorgeous church buried way back in the hills of this incredible town, the guests then went on to the reception whilst I held back with the new Mr and Mrs Ferro for them to have some time together whilst I just photographed the magic in front of me.
We wandered through the quaint and rustic streets; stopping in alleyways, on stairways, admiring all the Italian charm that oozed from every square inch of the place - this pair only had eyes for each other though.
After a short but jaw-droppingly stunning journey, up through the hills, we were greeted by a band and all their guests at Villa La Rosa Dei Venti. If you've ever seen Letters To Juliet then it's JUST like the stunning wedding venue in that (and if you've not seen it then go and watch it as soon as you've finished looking at this!)
Every part of this day was complete perfection, put together by the wonderful Julie and Emilie of My Secret Italy; the venue, the flowers, the decorations, the atmosphere, the music, the food... I could go on! Myself and my fabulous second shooter, Cat, were made to feel indescribably welcome and loved absolutely every second of it - even down to the hangover by the pool with everyone the day after!
Thank you so much for having us, Sab and Dom - you were an absolute bloody dream xo
