A classic and flower-filled Silverholme Manor Wedding, Lake District - Jennifer and Alex

Today I’m sharing this beauty of a Big Day, at Silverholme Manor - the third time I’d been there and, as always, absolutely fabulous!

The Lake District is arguably one of the most gorgeous parts of this country, come rain or shine, and I absolutely adore photographing weddings there. The variety of incredible wedding venues is extraordinary and I’ve been lucky enough to shoot at a whole heap of them.

One of the most charming things about Silverholme Manor is that you and your guests have full run of the luxurious house for the whole weekend, as well as being able to get married in the Coach House in the grounds then have your reception celebrations in the grounds.

Jen and Alex went for a classy and simple wedding; a marquee in the garden adorned with beautiful white flowers. There was a huge game of His or Her, a personalised bar, homemade gin, one of THE most delicious Wedding Breakfasts ever (seriously… Mac & Cheese AND steak!), M&Ms with their faces on and rain that we refused to let beat us!
