A blue skied, summer tipi wedding at Skipbridge Country Wedding venue - Tom and Chloe

Who doesn’t want more blue skies? They’re just around the corner, I can feel it! But whilst we wait here’s an absolute stunner of a wedding that I shot last August at Skipbridge Country Wedding Venue in York.

Chloe and Tom were just a relaxed couple from the get-go, totally informal, trusting and easygoing… The DREAM! When we met on their wedding morning there was hugs all around and it felt like I’d known them for ages. Chloe looked unreal, in her gown from Confetti and Lace in Leeds. She had six beautiful and supportive bridesmaids in blush pink that were on hand to help all day.

Chloe and Tom’s ceremony was outside; something that one can just cross fingers for for the most part when booking a wedding in England but their luck was in and Tom cried as his beautiful wife-to-be walked down the aisle towards him - laughing because she just knew he’d be an emotional wreck 🥰

Skipbridge is such a gorgeous location, on a farm full of horses, with chickens strutting around, beautiful backdrops, a hobbit-like tunnel and an amazing gang of staff that are there for your every need. Not only that, it meant that Chloe and Tom’s ridiculously cute puppy, Floki, could join them too… And I am HERE for dogs at weddings!

My first impression of the amazing newlyweds was bang on - the day was so full of love and just oozed happiness. Everyone was so delighted to be there and be a part of their story, the laughter and joy was simply contagious!
