A stylish and crazy-colourful, city-centre wedding, Oddfellows, Chester - Jenna and Tom

Let me set the scene…. Beautiful bride with corkscrew blonde curls, in a dip dyed satin gown with sleeves tattooed down both arms - one of which is a full Wacky Races theme.. A groom with a huge beaming grin, an enviable mane of hair and a dark pink suit….

I would class this as one of the most un-weddingy weddings in all of my time shooting and for that reason I absolutely ADORED it! I arrived to Jenna and Tom’s room at Oddfellows in Chester, they’re both in there having spent the ridiculously sunny morning together. Once they were dressed and ready, all traditions were broken and we went straight off to arguably the best and brightest car park for their photographs before their ceremony (there was some mild blackmail in order for us to get in there but so worth it!)

Oddfellows is a bloody gorgeous venue and I couldn’t think of a more perfect one for this pair, full of quirks and colours and super relaxed. This, added with the amazing touches that they’d thrown in the mix, made for one of my all-time favourite weddings. A hair crown that wouldn’t look out of place in Game of Thrones, that dress, a donut wall, a cool AF wedding cake, entirely informal speeches, no sit-down meal but instead, a banging BBQ…

I could go on gushing all day but I’ll stop… You just scroll! Jen and Tom - I love ya! XO

PS. The Muttley graffiti that mirrored Jen’s tattoo was one of those complete and utter, perfect life coincidences - keep your eyes peeled!
